D'Alesio Group announces that, through the combined action of two units of the Navy of the United States of America and United Kingdom, which operated under the direction of the Italian Admiral Gualtiero Mattesi - as Commander of the Task Force ' NATO's Operation Ocean Shield - the eleven pirates who have attacked the M / V Montecristo have been arrested.

With great satisfaction, the ship crew of 23 people has been rescued after that they took refuge in the citadel yesterday morning. The situation has evolved positively thanks to the professionalism of the Captain Diego Scussat and his crew, the effectiveness of the boat equipment and the respect of the procedures learned during the training received on board by a team of security experts.

The D'Alesio Group expresses its strong appreciation for the effective collaboration between all the institutions, Italian and Foreign, that has allowed the brilliant success of the operation today. A special thanks goes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which, through the Crisis Unit, has followed with maximum attention the event from the very beginning, and the Combined Joint Operational Command of the Ministry of Defense.
