Livorno, 14 October 2011 - The M/V Montecristo is sailing towards safe waters escorted by the frigate Andrea Doria of the Italian Navy. The M/V Montecristo heads toward the port of Fujairah in the UAE, where the damages suffered during piracy attack will be repaired.

The Dalmare S.p.A. expresses once again its deep gratitude to the NATO Ocean Shield Task Force and to the Italian Navy for the crucial role that the Andrea Doria is playing in the protection of the M / V Montecristo and its crew.
